We used Joseph Bollhofer for my mother’s Estate Planning. He was a pleasure to deal with, patient and comprehensive, with the experience and foresight to include aspects of the documents that we had not even considered. Having everything in place before we need it has been a relief and it was a far more pleasant experience than anticipated. The 1st meeting covered everything we wanted, and a draft was in our hands shortly thereafter. There were no edits required and signing was the next week. Knowing we now have a family lawyer who is just a phone call away and right in town lets us move forward knowing that when the sands of time shift, we’re not alone in moving forward through unknown geography. Highly recommend!

“I recently purchased a home in St. James and used the services of Mr. Bollhofer to represent me as a buyer. I have to say I am very pleased with the service provided. There were no hidden costs and they were very good with getting me to get most of the information needed from the town to save costs and time. I had much of the paper work. A lot of other places will bill you a lot of money for this. The other lawyer incorrectly prepared his documents in respects to the seller's name and Mr. Bollhofer picked up on this saving a problem with registering the deed.
They also addressed all of my questions quickly and correctly. I believe their main area of expertise is Elder law and I would not hesitate to use them if I were dealing with an estate or will.
Their Paralegal Colleen was especially helpful and they always got back to me in a very short period of time. Overall a very good experience and it is really good to have someone like this in the community.”

“I recently used the services of Joseph A. Bollhofer for my home purchase. Naturally as someone who is new with going through the home buying process, it is a nerve-wracking experience. I found this office through a service provided to me by my company and was not recommended to me personally by anyone I am close to. This naturally would make anyone a little nervous.
Every time I called, I was treated with a very personal feeling. I was never hurried off the phone, never forgotten about, and never made to feel like I was small and on the bottom of the priority list.
It was that personal feeling that made my home purchase smooth and as easy on my mine and my wife's nerves as possible even when there were slight hiccups in the process. Feeling like an important client is one thing, but obviously it was also important that they backed it up with their professionalism, knowledge and ability to get things done.
